WEEK 4 - NO REST WEEK (25 SEPTEMBER - 1 OCTOBER 2023)

    Here it comes, the most hectic week since my practicum started. Everyday routines, I went to the school office to clock in my attendance. Monday’s assembly like always. Then, there is a meeting for students who participate in the camp at Nur Laman Bestari Ulu Yam. There's nothing much going on from Monday to Wednesday in week 4 but it's started getting busier starting on Thursday when we were actually on school holidays for Maulidur Rasul but me and Ainun Sofeya need to work on our holidays. Me and Ainun Sofeya need to leave the house at 7 am to go to the Nakhoda Mosque to prepare for the pupil’s procession in conjunction with the celebration of the Maulidur Rasul. We also followed the parade around the Kampung Nakhoda with the students and teachers who were present on that day representing SK Sungai Tua Baharu. We went home and rested after that.

    On Friday, we also have the Maulidur Rasul celebration at school. The celebration went well with a parade around the school. Me and Ainun Sofeya once again joined the parade. We marched while praying for the prophet. I really miss this vibe. I haven't felt it in a long time. after celebrating the Maulidur Rasul, we returned home and got ready to camp at Nur Laman Bestari Ulu. Me and Ainun Sofeya were informed to come early after Friday’s prayer because we need to prepare and help with the registration. We went there very early so that no one was there yet. The registration went well and the camp with an ice-breaking session led by our camp commander’s leader. My role for the 3 days 2 nights camp is camp commander assistant. I'm so tired that I didn't get a proper rest since the morning.

    The second day of the camping starts. Me and Ainun Sofeya woke up early to guide the pupils to the prayer hall for Subuh. After Subuh, pupils are asked to go to the open hall for an aerobics dance for morning exercise. The aerobics were led by Sir Ihsan and some of the pupils. Then, the pupils were asked to go to the dining hall for breakfast before starting their activities for day two. Me and Ainun Sofeya helped Ustazah Fazlina prepare for the treasure hunt activity at the smell sense station. The kids were so funny with their actions when they were smelling the things and trying to guess the smell. The treasure hunt’s activity ran smoothly. After the treasure hunt activity ended, me and Ainun Sofeya went back to our campsites and had a rest and took a nap for a second because we really couldn't handle the tiredness anymore. In the evening, me and Ainun Sofeya went to guide the pupils back to the next activity which was obstacles. They really do enjoy the activity. After obstacles, the pupils went back to their campsites to prepare themselves for Maghrib prayer and dinner. At night, the pupils sat in groups to prepare for the cultural night’s performance. Night 2 ended and we all went back to the campsites to rest. Last day, me and Ainun Sofeya woke up a little bit late because we both forgot to set an alarm. We packed our stuff for check out later at 12 then went to the open hall. After that, we were ready for the closing ceremony. The camp also ended smoothly.

WEEK 10 - CHILL WEEK WITH ME! (6 NOVEMBER -10 NOVEMBER 2023)

      I finally can have a chill week after going through such a hectic week with so many activities in one day. I can finally arrange my file after being left to dust for weeks. I didn't have class on Monday because of the assembly. So I just completed my lesson plan for the whole day. I also didn't have any relief class on Monday. I'm so glad because I can finally rest. The next day, I had a PJ class with 5 Cekal. We played hockey together. For your information, hockey is one of my favorite sports >.<     On Wednesday, I have a class with 6 Kreatif. In this lesson, I focused on grammar skills which is adjectives and comparison of adjectives. I gave them notes about adjectives and asked them a few questions about adjectives. Then, I gave them an exercise about adjectives. I asked them to volunteer and comes in front to answer the questions on whiteboard. WEEK 9 - SOLIDARITY PALESTINE WEEK (30 OCTOBER - 3 NOVEMBER 2023)

      For this week, the school have launched the week for Solidarity Palestine. This program was launched to spread the awareness on what is happening to the people in Palestine 🇵🇸 WE STAND WITH PALESTINE 🇵🇸       On Monday, I came early and prepared prizes for the winners that joined actively on the fitness month. There’s so many prizes and winners. Because of the gift giving ceremony took so long to finished, I need to postpone my Monday’s lesson with 6 Kreatif.      On Thursday, I went to the field together with year 6 pupils because they have a sports program. Then, I went back to school because I have a class with 5 Cekal and relief classes. Tray gurlie ^.^ Sports with year 6! Supporting 6 Kreatif with Junior Entrepreneur activity.
