WEEK 8 - SUKANTARA AND KEM BESTARI SOLAT WEEK (23 OCTOBER - 28 OCTOBER 2023)


     I called this week a sukantara week because the sukantara was held for one week straight. The kids were so excited waiting for their turn. There’s so many pupils joined the sukantara especially year 4 pupils. They were the most excited one because it was their first experience ever joining this kind of activity. There’s also Kem Bestari Solat held by teachers from Panitia Pendidikan Islam. 

     On Wednesday, I have a lesson with 6 Kreatif and i focused on Speaking skills. For this lesson they were asked to create a dialogue with their friends on how they come to school with then present it in front with their pair. From this activity they can also know better about their friends. They did pretty well on the dialogue but I still need to guide some of them. But some of them really didn’t pay attention to the lesson and just talking with their friends. I gave then warning by saying that I will bring the to meet headmaster at office if they didn’t finished the task. They did it immediately.

     On Thursday, I dont really have anything to say because I don’t have a class with 6 Kreatif because I need to postpone it again ;( But I have a meeting with year 6 teachers because on Friday there will be Kem Bestari Solat Pengurusan Jenazah for year 6 pupils. We have the meeting for 30 minutes to discuss about everything.

     On Friday, Kem Bestari Solat (Pengurusan Jenazah) went very well. On Saturday, we also need to come to school because there’s a gotong-royong unit beruniform to clean the field to use for Temasya Kejohanan Sukan Tahunan. I was assigned to prepare the food for parents and pupils who came to clean the field on that day.

WEEK 5 - FLU FLU PLEASE GO AWAY! (2 OCTOBER - 6 OCTOBER 2023)

     After the camping ended, I had a fever and flu for the whole week. I was very sick the whole week but I managed to get through the week without sick leave. Actually, I have a story behind it, I went to the clinic because it kept getting worse day by day but the doctor forgot to give me the MC letter. I only survive with the medicine given by the doctor without any rest.       Week 5 also has so many events going on. On Monday morning, there is the launching of the Science Month ceremony and assembly while in the evening, I need to attend sports training for the second time as an assistant head of the sports house. On Tuesday, nothing is going on and I just have a PJ class with 5 Cekal since I don't have a class with 6 Kreatif on Tuesday. I'm so tired of handling 5 Cekal with their chaotic behavior. WEEK 2 - INDEPENDENCE MONTH ACTIVITY’S WEEK (11 SEPTEMBER - 15 SEPTEMBER 2023)

     In my second week, SK Sungai Tua Baharu started the new week with an assembly on Monday morning. After the assembly was over, I went to 6 Kreatif because my class with them was right after the assembly ended. I conducted the class with Topic 4 which is Cool Jobs because my lovely 6 Kreatif pupils said that they are still learning the topic. 6 Kreatif are so loud and talkative. I almost lost my voice trying my best to control the class. I realized that I'm still bad at controlling the class. I really need to work on class control and voice projection. After the class ended, I asked my practicum partner (Ainun Sofeya) to have breakfast at the canteen with me because I'm so hungryyyy. Before school ended, 2 pupils from 6 Kreatif approached me at my table and asked me if I could help them prepare for their pentomin’s competition since they didn't have a teacher to guide them.
